Blues, Country and Folk Music
They’re distinctive musical styles, but they share the same deep Americana roots.
Blues, Country and Folk are heard everywhere, and their rhythms, melodies and harmonies are constantly evolving. Often symbols of a people's expression, these genres’ songs weave stories through their lyrics and sometimes convey intense emotions. Artists the world over have embraced these wonderfully well-travelled styles, and bring them to Place des Arts’ stages to share with Québec audiences.
