This June, Place des Arts becomes a space for experimentation, reflection, and exchange for cultural mediation professionals, artist-mediators, and cultural workers.

Over two days, we invite you to deepen your cultural mediation practices, explore the éducation esthétique approach, and strengthen the impact of your projects.

An approach developed and refined over the past 10 years

Éducation esthétique involves teaching through the arts by placing the participant at the center of the process, with the aim of transforming the encounter with a work of art into a genuine experience of active exploration and learning. Engaging and collaborative, it encourages participation and enriches the way we engage with the world.

Explore practical tools to enrich your practice

Through hands-on workshops, discover approaches, exercises and facilitation techniques that foster creativity, imagination and critical thinking in young people, in connection with the performing arts and the realities of academic environments.

    • Dates: June 16 and 17, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Location: Place des Arts rehearsal room
    • Instructors: Marika Crête-Reizes and Marco Pronovost
    • Independent artists: $125
    • Cultural organization professionals: $250

    A limited number of bursaries will be available for participants for whom registration fees represent a financial barrier. Certain conditions apply and are subject to availability.
