An immersion in arts and culture, opening up a world of possibilities

Give your students the chance to discover new interests, surprise themselves and dream in a new environment through our school program that includes three components: in-class creative workshops, a show at Place des Arts followed by a discussion with the artist, and an educational activity workbook.

This program offers a range of performing arts disciplines, inviting students to take part in a tailored cultural mediation experience and connect with Quebec artists dedicated to working with young people.

This year's artists: Louis-Jean Cormier in French song, David Goudreault in slam poetry, Rymz in rap and hip-hop, and Douaa Kachache in comedy.

An artistic journey filled with inspiring collective experiences

Adapted to different high school levels and designed for teachers across all subjects, our program aligns with the key orientations of the Québec Education Program.

Workshop

Introduce students to the discipline of the selected show through one or two in-class workshops led by our artist-mediators. They will collaborate with you to create a unique experience for your students.

Show

Attend a show at Place des Arts with your students, then stay for a discussion with the artist that will spark their curiosity and broaden their horizons.

Activity workbook

Enhance your students’ artistic journey with our educational activity workbook. A valuable resource that helps students prepare for the show and supports post-performance reflection in class through engaging activities.

  • An approach that has delivered results for over a decade

    At the heart of our School Program, éducation esthétique places students at the center of learning by fostering their artistic sensibility and strengthening their relationships with themselves and others.

    Free, specialized training is also offered to teachers to support the integration of this approach into their teaching practice.

Key information and reservations

Deadline to reserve a show: December 15, 2026

    • Show dates: March 15 to 18, 2027

    • Duration: 60 minutes without intermission + a 30-minute post-show discussion

    • Location: Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier

    • In-class workshop period: January 5 to April 30, 2027

    • Duration: 75 minutes

    • Maximum capacity: 40 students

    • Location: in the classroom (except for schools outside the Greater Montreal area)

    Time slots: an email will be sent in mid-September to reserve your workshop time slot(s).

  • Price per person - including the show:

    • 1 in-class workshop: $15.50

    • 2 in-class workshops: $23.00
