Renaud symphonique: 50 ans de carrière!

For the occasion, an eclectic and daring lineup of Quebec artists will come together to honour Renaud and his remarkable career, accompanied by the Orchestre national de jazz and its 35 musicians, under the musical direction of Antoine Gratton.

Different voices, generations, and artistic worlds, united by a shared desire: to celebrate Renaud and, in their own way, bring 50 years of songs to life.

Émile Bourgault, Betty Bonifassi, Daniel Boucher, Édith Butler, France Castel, Antoine Gratton, Luc De Larochellière, Marie-Jo Thério, Mara Tremblay, Édouard Tremblay-Grenier, and Yann Perreau will revisit the songs that have marked the artist’s remarkable career.

“Mistral gagnant,” “Morgane de toi,” “Dès que le vent soufflera,” “Laisse béton,” “En cloque,” “Hexagone”… Songs that have spanned generations and that, for this occasion, will take on a new dimension through arrangements specially crafted for this grand celebration.

Renaud will be in the audience to witness this immense tribute paid to him by the artists and the Quebec audience.

After 50 years of songs, poetry, humour, rebellion, and tenderness, this evening will be an opportunity to rediscover his world in a new light and to celebrate the songs that are now part of our collective memory.
