Music, from 7 p.m.: Marzos & Mateo
MARZOS, a 14-member ensemble, promotes the heritage of visible and ethnic minorities from South America while ensuring excellence and advancement in the arts in Quebec. MATEO, a Colombian singer-songwriter, performer, and guitarist, is redefining the codes of Latin music by blending Afrobeat, alternative rock, electronic music, and Afro-Colombian sounds.
On the decks, from 8:30 p.m.: DJ Rhythm & Hues
Co-founder of the Tumbao collective, DJ Rhythm & Hues has been making turntables resonate for over a decade with a signature sound rooted in Afro-Latin, Brazilian, and Caribbean rhythms — all driven by a deep passion for vinyl. From Mexico City to Hong Kong, with a stop in Cotonou, he has ignited dance floors and shared the stage with renowned artists such as Gia Fu, Mickey Pérez, La Rumba Buena, and Christian Martir, as well as local bands like Lengaïa Salsa Brava, La Tribu, Mateo, and many more. As the resident DJ of La Murga, a popular night dedicated to salsa dura, he spreads a festive energy that will keep you dancing all night long.
