Festival de Lanaudière

Founded in 1978, the Festival de Lanaudière is one of the largest classical music events in North America. Its programming showcases the greatest talents from both here and abroad in an idyllic setting surrounded by nature. The performances take place under the stars at the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay in Joliette, in many churches across the region and at several charming agritourism venues.
The sound of the world’s greatest orchestras
Attracting music lovers from all over the world, the Festival de Lanaudière has become a coveted stop for renowned artists in the industry. The Festival also hosts various symphonic orchestras such as the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and the Orchestre Métropolitain, as well as international ensembles like The Philadelphia Orchestra, Les Arts Florissants, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin and many more.

To open the Festival de Lanaudière, the Orchestre de l’Agora, under the direction of Nicolas Ellis, is inviting the public to the 4th edition of its Gala de la Terre on July 4th.
