Founded in 2000 in Montréal, MUTEK is a festival focused on discovery and innovation. Each year, its eclectic programming brings together some 100 artists who treat the public to immersive live experiences and audiovisual performances at several iconic venues in the city.
Mostly based in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles, the event takes over Montréal for six days and nights, awakening the city’s senses. MUTEK has also expanded internationally, offering similar programming in major digital music and arts meccas from Mexico City to Barcelona, Tokyo, Buenos Aires and Dubai.
