The dance beyond the stage
Taking place at the Théâtre Maisonneuve, the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, the Cinquième Salle and, more recently with JOAT International Festival of street dance on the Esplanade, more than 200 dance companies from 30 different countries have shared moments of great emotion with 700 000 spectators for over 28 years.
In addition to its performances, Danse Danse offers a wide range of ways to experience dance: off-site activities, encounters with artists, dance workshops for the general public, school programs, and much more. These are just a few of the ways Danse Danse invites audiences to experience dance directly, and to embark on a journey to contemporary realms full of emotion and inspiration.
