Annual Gala

Grande Première des futures étoiles

Created to support the Foundation's mission, La Grande Première des futures étoiles is a unique event that invites guests to discover talented emerging artists on the prestigious stage of Théâtre Maisonneuve. The fundraising gala brings together over 500 individuals from the business sector, the cultural community, philanthropy, and art enthusiasts from all walks of life.

The community component of the evening, supported by donors and partners, also allows more than 500 newcomers and secondary school students to attend the evening's performance for free.

    Performing Arts and Culinary Delights

    The 14th edition of La Grande Première des futures étoiles will take place on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Théâtre Maisonneuve at Place des Arts.

    For this three-part evening, the performance, under the artistic direction of renowned harpsichordist Luc Beauséjour, will be preceded by a dinner cocktail and followed by dessert wine.

    Guests will be invited to discover young artists of exceptional talent through a variety of styles and artistic disciplines.

    A net result of over $650,000

    On June 4th, more than 1,000 spectators attended the Grande Première des futures étoiles 2024 performance, which, under the artistic direction of virtuoso cellist Stéphane Tétreault, blended classical music, jazz, dance, song, theater, poetry, and much more.

    This 13th edition of the fundraising event was a great success, raising a significant amount to support the Place des Arts Foundation and its mission of accessibility and education.
