Introduce your students to the art of comedy!

This introduction to comedic writing, improvisation and performing a piece will allow young people to transform the humour that fuels their daily lives into artistic expression.

About the Show

A unique introduction to comedy with the dynamic show 3x plus drôle, hosted by three professional comedians with diverse styles. Through performances tailored to their everyday experiences, students will discover the mechanics of laughter, the art of telling a funny story, and the impact of stage performance. This fun and inspiring experience will give them a whole new perspective on comedy!

About the Artists

SAAD FANNISH

Originally from Morocco, Saad moved to Quebec in 2015 and quickly immersed himself in Québécois culture. His unique humour, shaped by his Moroccan roots and queer identity, is what sets him apart. After just one year of doing stand-up in Quebec, he was named a "rising star" by Juste pour rire. Since then, he has performed on prestigious stages, hosts a night at the Bordel Comédie Club, and takes part in major shows across the province.

JACOB OSPIAN

Of Latin American, Arab and Armenian descent, Quebec-born Jacob Ospian has been immersed in comedy his whole life (even though he’s still young!). Founder of the 450 Comédie Club, he has self-produced two shows and has opened for Adib Alkhalidey, Rachid Badouri and Mike Ward. Active online and on TV, he’s made a name for himself through his podcasts Sans Commentaire and Ouain, and appearances on shows like Le prochain Stand-up and L’Open Mic de…. Jacob is a generous performer, a devoted father and an all-around great guy—who's still figuring some things out, but is far from done surprising you.

MARIE-LINE PITRE

A comedian, writer, teacher and proud Acadian, Marie-Line Pitre truly lives up to her last name (Pitre means clown in French)! A 2014 graduate of the École nationale de l’humour, she specializes in comedy in educational settings and has collaborated with institutions like the École nationale de l’humour and Place des Arts. A nominee at the Gala des Olivier for the podcast Avance Rapide, she juggles between youth performances and teaching, demonstrating her remarkable versatility.
