Noël Gospel kicks off the Christmas season with the more than 100 voices of Jireh Gospel Choir and Montreal Gospel Choir, directed by Carol Bernard, in a soulful gospel celebration.

Petrushka is pure magic—the puppet suddenly coming to life, brimming with charm, mischief, and touching awkwardness. Stravinsky creates a sonic theatre of wild inventiveness, fuelled by the audacity of his original collaborators—Fokine, Benois, Diaghilev—who dreamed of a spectacle blurring the lines between puppets and humans.

“Time goes by, and it takes its time,” as the song says. And time has indeed passed… after more than thirty years of joyfully toiling, here and elsewhere, on the glowing embers of Québec’s traditional repertoire.
