Getting to Place des Arts

Directly linked to the Place-des-Arts metro station and located close to several bus routes, Place des Arts is easily reachable on foot, by bike, by metro, by taxi, or by car (with indoor parking available).

By metro 

From the Place-des-Arts metro station on the green line, you can get to all of Place des Arts’ performance halls without stepping outside. Simply follow the signs to “Place des Arts” to get to the complex.

To get to Place des Festivals outdoors, you can use Exit A (Jeanne-Mance Street).

Reduced mobility: there are elevators available at the Place-des-Arts station’s Exit D (Bleury Street).

By bus

Place des Arts is on the 15, 24, 35, 55, 80, 125, 129, 465 and 480 bus lines.

By bike or BIXI bike

There are bike stands located near the entrance at 1600 Saint-Urbain Street.

Several BIXI stations can be found in the area around Place des Arts. The closest station is on the corner of Maisonneuve and Bleury. Check the interactive map to find other BIXI stations.

By car

If you wish to come to Place des Arts by car, it’s easy to park in our indoor lot, located at 1450 Saint-Urbain Street.

Please note that certain nearby streets can sometimes be blocked off for events, most notably during the festival season in summer. Check for street closures to make sure you arrive in time for your show!

By taxi

There are two taxi parking zones serving the Place des Arts area, on Saint-Urbain Street:

  • On the west side: near the Maison symphonique and the Salon urbain
  • On the east side: south of Sainte-Catherine Street

Take note! Sainte-Catherine Street is pedestrian-only until October 31, 2023 (between Saint-Laurent and de Bleury).

This entrance is recommended for:
 People with reduced mobility: an access ramp provides an easy entry into the Place des Arts complex.
 People arriving by bike: there is a bike rack located right next to the entrance.
 People arriving by taxi.
