For the first time at the CINEMANIA Film Festival, a documentary takes the form of a major Luxembourgish live cinema concert. Bringing together film and live music, this ambitious and original production offers a truly unique stage experience.

Through the stories of Strasbourg, Luxembourg and Brussels, Donato Rotunno traces the construction of Europe, exploring its rivalries, compromises, and the men and women who helped shape it.

On stage, the Singülar Orchestra delivers an immersive musical performance blending contemporary jazz, improvisation and electronic sounds. At times spellbinding, poetic or energetic, the music accompanies the film live, creating a vibrant dialogue between the images, the music and the audience.

An exceptional event at the CINEMANIA Film Festival, where documentary cinema meets live performance to offer Montreal audiences a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

The "Grand Concert Fantastique : Du Cinéma à la Scène" will bring together three groups on the stage of the Maison Symphonique de Montréal: the Orchestre à Vents Péri-phonique (OVP) celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Saint-Hyacinthe (OPSH), with a history spanning nearly 150 years, and a massive choir of over 100 voices.
