What are the dreams of the next generation? The OM gives the floor to two of its favourite stars: conductor Glass Marcano and pianist Tony Siqi Yun.

The Venezuelan El Sistema graduate made a highly acclaimed debut at the OM in 2024, earning the admiration of both the orchestra and the audience. Here, she returns with a work that reflects her vibrancy and passion—Dvořák’s New World Symphony—to be followed by Kauyumari, a piece by Mexican composer Gabriela Ortiz.

For Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3, she will be accompanied by young Canadian talent Tony Siqi Yun, whose expressive performance left a lasting impression on audiences in Worcester, Philadelphia and New York during the OM’s 2024 US tour.
