Baby Shower is a comedy-drama with humor and depth that tackles several current issues related to becoming a mother, breaking the taboo surrounding miscarriage.

Anne-Marie has succeeded in nearly everything she has undertaken. Only one thing is missing from her happiness… a child. Her miscarriages devastated her and she isolated herself, unable to bear witness to her friends' pregnancies. When her sister Jade unexpectedly becomes pregnant, Anne-Marie has no choice but to support her and organizes a surprise baby shower. But, the party quickly turns sour. No one wants to be there, not even the guest of honor.

Between sparkling non-alcoholic cocktails and glittery cupcakes, their friendship is shaken to its core. Jealousy, strong opinions, and unveiled secrets fuel anger, sparking heated discussions, embarrassing games, and... the destruction of the diaper cake!

By exposing the pernicious side of baby showers, this comedy-drama unpacks rivalry between women while celebrating their power.

If it takes a village to raise a child, perhaps it also takes several women to raise a mother?
