On September 11 and 12, 2021, Place des Arts and the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Maison symphonique de Montréal with a series of ten free short concerts and four discussions. Discover the exceptional acoustics of the Maison symphonique with Caroline Lizotte’s Suite Galactique, a veritable sensory voyage from weightlessness to the comfort of a campfire, set to the sound of the harp. In Debussy’s two dances, the instrument is transformed into an ancient dancer, supported by a string quartet. This serene, luminous program will be performed by musicians from the OSM.
