Ensemble Vocal Arts-Québec and organist Jonathan Oldengarm evoke the divine afterworld with powerful performances of the Faure and Durufle Requiems. Fauré’s Requiem offers a radiant vision of heaven, comforting audiences far beyond the composer’s original Parisian congregation. Duruflé’s unique work is equally recognized as a masterpiece, being performed regularly since the composer's death. Experience these two Requiems in all their glory, in a beautiful rendition led by guest conductor Francis Choinière!
