Echoing the spirit of Festival Quartiers Danses, the opening night celebrates choreographic diversity through Indigenous roots, contemporary writing and classical flight, with choreographers Barbara Diabo, Charles Brecard and Étienne Gagnon-Delorme of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens.

Between grounded roots and virtuosity, this evening features Ivanie Aubin Malo with an Indigenous-rooted vision, emerging artist Zachary Bastille and Pauline Gervais in contemporary poetry.

This mixed bill brings together creations of rare intensity, each offering a unique exploration of the human experience.
