Moonrise by Yasushi Kurotaki

With Moonrise, artist Yasushi Kurotaki presents a solo inspired by the Japanese myth of Obasute, evoking themes of aging, memory, human connection and abandonment. Shifting between the fragile boundaries of compassion and violence, tenderness and impossibility, the piece questions what the body can still express when words become insufficient. Trained in mime in Tokyo, the Japanese choreographer and performer develops a singular body language that explores perception, gravity and the essence of human existence.

Recursion by Ji Jie

Recursion explores intimate relationships as a power struggle where the logic of "win or lose" shapes our connections. In this duet, Hong Kong artist Ji Jie transforms her own childhood traumas into a powerful, repetitive choreographic raw material. Serving as both a release and a space for healing, this cathartic work offers a true sanctuary for invisible wounds, while questioning the possibility of reconciliation with oneself and with the other.

LADY by  Naomi Gwynn

LADY explores, with humour and insight, the contradictions surrounding femininity and the transition to adulthood. Through a series of short scenes blending movement, snippets of dialogue and tragicomedy (inspired by Samuel Beckett), the play addresses the exhaustion, joy and absurdity of imposed female roles. Inspired by the resurgence of “traditional woman” ideals in popular culture, LADY offers a critical and offbeat take on these models, navigating the tension between vulnerability and resistance.
