Carré de cendres is a theatrical, poetic, irreverent, and playful piece created from the work of Brigitte Fontaine, combining movement, voice, and music.

 The title of the show evokes a sandbox where one can play freely, with the carefree spirit of childhood. Ash symbolizes the ephemeral, the fragility of life, death, the end of all things.

Isabel shares the stage with her accomplice, Fabienne Lucet, composer and musician. Touched by Fontaine's tender yet cruel view of humankind, they wish, through this creation, to highlight the multiple facets of women, their prism. Like Fontaine, they are enamored with freedom and a desire for emancipation, to break free from the shackles of preconceived image...
