Thirty years after captivating audiences across Québec in theatres, La Florida lands on stage. Léo Lespérance, his wonderful wife Ginette, their children, and Pépère hit the road for Hollywood Beach, convinced they have found their paradise—until their dream sinks straight to the bottom of the pool.

Demanding guests, intimidating neighbours, and never-ending renovations: welcome to Motel Ginette, where the American Dream gets a healthy splash of salt water… and reality.

Set against a delightfully kitschy tropical backdrop, the cult-favourite lines everyone knows by heart are back in a comedy that is as hilarious as it is heartfelt, as bright as it is bittersweet.

Adapted from the beloved 1993 film, winner of the Bobine d’Or Award for the highest-grossing Québec box-office hit of its year, La Florida returns to shine on stage under the direction of Charles Dauphinais. Joining the adventure are our favourite snowbirds: Louis Champagne, Tammy Verge, Didier Lucien, Lauren Hartley, Gary Boudreault, Marc St-Martin, and Joakim Robillard.
