3:00 p.m.At this concert, the Orchestre symphonique du Conservatoire de musique de Montréal and soloist Amellie Gendron, violin, will perform at the Maison symphonique under the direction of conductor Naomi Woo.
The program will feature a world premiere by Jérémie Ménard; Violin Concerto No. 1, Op. 35 by Karol Szymanowski; Hungarian Sketches, Sz. 97, BB 103 by Béla Bartók; and, to conclude, Richard Strauss’s magnificent Don Juan, Op. 20.
