Mikey Day Gala

Mikey Day is a versatile and beloved writer, actor, and comedian who got his start at Saturday Night Live in 2013, was promoted to Featured Player in 2016, and became a repertory Cast Member in 2018. His work has garnered him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing For A Variety Series, and he’s currently in his eighth season as a Cast Member. Some of Day’s viral sketches on SNL that showcase his sharp comedic timing, his expert physical comedy, and his adaptability as a performer include “Beavis and Butt-Head” with Ryan Gosling, the recurring “David S. Pumpkins” opposite Tom Hanks, “American Girl Store” opposite Saoirse Ronan, “Superspreader Event”, "Dad Prank Video".  

Last Spring, he could be seen in Jerry Seinfeld/Netflix’s UNFROSTED as one element of “Snap” “Crackle” “Pop”. Other film credits include Happy Madison/Netflix’s HUBIE HALLOWEEN, Universal’s LITTLE opposite Issa Rae, and the Amazon comedy BRITTANY RUNS A MARATHON opposite Jillian Bell. Additionally, Day and his writing partner Streeter Seidell co-wrote the 2021 comedy HOME SWEET HOME ALONE for 20^th Century and starring Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Pete Holmes, and Kenan Thompson. Day can be seen as a priest in this comedy. Seidell and Day have re-teamed and are currently writing a comedy for Judd Apatow.  

Previously, Day was an original cast member on the improvisational comedy series Wild 'n Out on MTV. Additionally, he was an on-air correspondent for The Jay Leno Show and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He is also a Groundlings alum. While in Groundlings, his David Blaine Street Magic parody of Blaine went viral online.  

His notable voiceover work includes numerous characters in DC’s Mad Animated Series that brought the classic humor magazine to life, and he can currently be seen hosting the Netflix hit IS IT CAKE?
