An international evening where Kyra Jean Green embodies the Montreal scene with a whimsical and theatrical world, while Janusz Orlik brings the Polish voice through contemporary poetry.

Happy to be home by Kyra Jean Green

The duet Happy to be Home by Kyra Jean Green explores transition, return and transformation. The first work to be created after Kyra Jean Green became a mother, it explores changes in identity and time through fluid, rhythmic choreography. The piece evokes the upheavals of life, marked by moments of fragmentation and reintegration. It invites us to reflect on the passages that redefine us in a constantly changing world.

III Symfonia by Janusz Orlik

Award-winning choreographer and performer Janusz Orlik continues his exploration of the profound dialogue between music and movement in III Symfonia. Set to Henryk Mikołaj Górecki’s iconic 1976 composition, this full-length work reflects Orlik’s dedication to emotionally resonant dance rooted in powerful musical scores. Known for his work with inclusive ensembles and international stages, Orlik crafts a choreography that, like Górecki’s music, seeks connection, reflection, and the enduring strength of the human spirit through art.
