Weaving together Mediterranean, Balkan, and jazz influences, Fakir Trio’s music combines traditional melodies with heady grooves to create an intimate yet energetic atmosphere. In the second half of the concert, Rachid Zeroual and his band will join the Trio to present a repertoire of traditional Sufi music and compositions inspired by Gnawa rhythms and Hmadcha music.
