To mark Black History Month, this Entretien arts et société will look at the issue of Afrodescendant representation on our stages and screens, and try to identify what progress has been made in recent years.

Host Catherine Perrin will speak with Emilie Nicolas, columnist at Le Devoir and host, Mireille Métellus, actress, David Laurin, Artistic Director at Duceppe and Anglesh Major, actor and musician.

Place des Arts’ Entretiens arts et société are free events, open to one and all. They feature lively discussions, inspired by shows and activities presented at Place des Arts, or by other topical issues.

A Q&A session with the audience will follow the discussion!
