This conference by Désirée Rochat, community educator and transdisciplinary researcher, will focus on transmitting the history of Black communities.
Désirée Rochat is guided by an integrative approach linking historical research, preservation of community archives and education, her work aims to document, theorize and transmit the history – and histories – of Black community activism. Dr. Rochat is currently a FRQSC Post-doctoral fellow at the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling at Concordia University.
