A green leaf that grows on a dead branch, pieces of wood that come together to form strange creatures, some hostile, some comical… Visual poetry that takes us to a curious world that surprises, amazes, and inspires, a world that also makes us think and wonder.
Staying true to its artistic approach, Puzzle Théâtre is once again drawing inspiration from a whole new medium to create an atypical, colourful puppet show, full of humour and unexpected situations.
Three decades have passed since the theft of the wampum, a sacred object and symbol of unity for the small community of Whitefish (Wapeyit-Nomehs). The village is being torn apart by a political crisis: two influential clans are engaged in a fierce power struggle.

They are father, sons, cousins, brothers-in-law; they are 23, 40, and 65 years old and have known each other forever. A small Egyptian-Québec clan has gathered in a cottage in the woods, with enough food to feed an army (you can never be too careful), and the group is about to celebrate Ralph’s birthday and enjoy the simple pleasures of the Laurentian forest.
