Société pour l’avancement de la chanson d’expression française
Revealing new talent and promoting French-language music in Quebec
This is the mission of the Société pour l'avancement de la chanson d'expression française (SACEF), an initiative of Place des Arts.
Founded more than 30 years ago, the organization offers young artists in the contemporary French music scene unique access to Place des Arts, as well as training, workshops and mentorship activities. These emerging artists then have the opportunity to present their creations at the Salle Claude-Léveillée in front of an eager and welcoming audience.
