One stage, talents, and a net result of $670,000 raised for accessibility to the arts at the 14th edition of the Future Stars' Grand Premiere
Montreal, June 5, 2025 – The Future Stars’ Grand Premiere, the annual benefit gala of the Fondation de la Place des Arts held this year on June 3, 2025, raised a net total of $670,000 in support of the organization’s mission. More than 500 philanthropists, businesspeople and friends of the Fondation took part in the memorable evening.
The show, directed by the renowned harpsichordist Luc Beauséjour, brought together 65 artists from the worlds of classical music, song, jazz, circus and street dance. A cocktail buffet and wine and dessert in the company of the artists were other features of the festive evening.
Sylvie Chagnon (Lallemand), Sandra Chartrand (Sandra and Alain Bouchard Foundation) and Jacques Marchand (LCI Education) were co-presidents for the event, which in a remarkable way highlighted the Fondation’s impact in the support and development of programs fostering accessibility to the arts for all.
“Choosing to support the arts also means choosing to invest in what we are and what we wish to become as a society,” stated Sandra Chartrand before the audience at Théâtre Maisonneuve. “Your attendance this evening demonstrates that we’re not the only ones to believe that.”
More than 600 guests from the community
Thanks to the generosity of its partners and donors, the Fondation was able once again this year to welcome to the
Future Stars’ Grand Premiere more than 600 guests from the community: from francization centers, newcomer organizations, secondary schools and community organizations.
