Église Saint-Jean-de-Matha
A place steeped in history dating back to the 1880s
Located in the heart of the municipality of Saint-Jean-de-Matha, in the Lanaudière region, the stone building is the work of Montreal architects Maurice Perrault and Albert Mesnard. This place of worship is a representative example of small rural parish churches from the 19th century, combining elements of classical and eclectic architecture. Its elevated location also offers a view overlooking the village core of the municipality.
