Thirty years after captivating audiences across Québec in theatres, La Florida lands on stage. Léo Lespérance, his wonderful wife Ginette, their children, and Pépère hit the road for Hollywood Beach, convinced they have found their paradise—until their dream sinks straight to the bottom of the pool.

From his bedroom window, a middle-aged man watches a magnolia tree bloom. Amid a visit to the doctor, picking out an urn and a walk in the woods with his grandson, he thinks, has doubts and sings. Driven by a quest for something greater than himself, he turns to words and music to make peace with what was and catch a glimpse of what may come next.
