Opéra McGill | The Rape of Lucretia

This fully staged presentation—artistically led by Stephen Hargreaves and Patrick Hansen and featuring full sets, costumes, and lighting—serves as a capstone educational experience, showcasing the emerging artistry of students from the Schulich School of Music. 

Britten’s haunting score and Ronald Duncan’s intimate libretto confront themes of power, morality, and justice through a distilled and emotionally charged narrative.
