Although she has often performed at the Festival in Baroque ensembles, this summer Mélisande McNabney gives her debut as a soloist, revealing the multiple facets of 17th- and 18th- century French repertoire for harpsichord. Original works, arrangements of lute, viola da gamba, and opera excerpts... she explores the technical and acoustic possibilities of the instrument.
