Nicolas Ellis and Farah Alibay, in Orbit!

This is the kind of unique encounter on which Lanaudière prides itself: between a young Quebec conductor and enduring figure of the Festival whose career is skyrocketing, and a high-level NASA scientist orbiting in the uppermost spheres of the aerospace sector. Nicolas Ellis and his Orchestre de l’Agora will send us far into the stratosphere with Holst’s The Planets and Claude Vivier’s orchestral suite Orion, expertly assisted by engineer Farah Alibay.
