Works by Mendelssohn and Schubert culminating in a world-premiere experience—a new arrangement of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony finale, of Franz Liszt’s two-piano arrangement.

With pianists Illia Ovcharenko and Philip Chiu; featuring exceptional singers, Odile Portugais, Jeanne Ireland, Mathew Cairns, and Colin Mackay; the Barbican Quartet; and Hugues Tremblay on timpani. A historic performance! Beethoven’s Ode to Joy like you have never heard it!

This concert is dedicated to the memory of Reuben Croll, long time friend of the Festival de musique de chambre de Montréal.
