There are blessed encounters so natural and prodigiously productive, musical friendships transcending the works performed, the concrete world, the musical notes, in which grace springs forth. Such is the duo of Andrew Wan and Charles Richard-Hamelin. After their acclaimed recording of the complete sonatas for violin and piano by Beethoven, they make their joint debut at Lanaudière, exploring the lesser-known gems of the great Robert Schumann's secret treasure trove: his three Sonatas for Violin and Piano.
