To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal (PCMR), this enchanting evening will feature two masterpieces by Antonio Vivaldi.
Under the baton of Orchestre classique de Montréal’s new music director, Andrei Feher, the concert will open with the renowned Four Seasons, Op. 8—a radiant and vibrant work showcasing violin soloist Marc Djokic. The four concertos, La primavera, L’estate, L’autunno, and L’inverno, will explore the changing seasons with an intensity that perfectly captures the spirit of nature.
After intermission, Vivaldi’s majestic Gloria, a captivating sacred work, will be performed with Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal, conducted by Andrew Gray.
