The Intimate Theatre of Handel

Concert Classical Music
Date

July 13, 2026

Past event

In this intimate, conversational concert – their only North American appearance together this summer – William Christie and Emmanuel Resche-Caserta invite audiences to discover, or rediscover, some of Handel’s most beautiful works.

The two musicians engage in a compelling play of symmetries, evoking both opera and the splendour of the court while revealing another aspect of “otherness”: dialogue, transmission, and the sharing of knowledge across generations.
