Getting to the Amphithéâtre

Bar and food

  • Bars

    Beer, wine and cocktails are available on site at all concerts, as well as non-alcoholic beverages.

  • Food trucks

    Food trucks are on site at all shows, except those that are part of the Festival de Lanaudière.

  • Lunch box

    Three lunch box options are available during the Festival de Lanaudière shows.

  • La Distinction restaurant

    Festival de Lanaudière ticket holders can reserve a table at La Distinction restaurant, located just a few steps from the Amphithéâtre.

  • Picnic

    During Festival de Lanaudière concerts only, you can bring your own picnic and enjoy it in the Pelouse section.

Good to know before your show

    • Backpack
    • Empty, non-glass water bottle. Water fountains are available on site to fill it up!

    However, some of these items may not be permitted at certain shows. For more details, ticket holders can refer to the event page or to the email that will be sent to them a few days before the concert.

    • Alcohol purchased off site.
    • Glass containers.
    • Weapons: pocket knives, knives, blades or any other sharp weapons; blunt objects; objects considered dangerous or risky.
    • Aerosol, capsicum: pepper spray or similar substances.
  • No, pets are unfortunately not allowed in the Amphithéâtre, except for guide dogs.

  • Tickets printed by the Place des Arts box office will be accepted. You cannot print your own tickets at home.

  • Accepted for: parking and food trucks.

    Not accepted for: bars and box office.

  • The site gates open 2 hours before the start of the show.

    You must arrive at the Amphithéâtre entrance 45 minutes before your show starts. This will ensure that everyone can be seated safely before the performance begins.

    Note that traffic around the Amphithéâtre can sometimes be heavier than usual. Please plan your trip accordingly.

  • You may be checked depending on the show.

  • The concerts are never cancelled because of rain. In the event of a severe storm, our staff will take the necessary steps to ensure your safety.

    The Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay has several seats under its roof that are sheltered from the elements. If you have Pelouse (lawn) tickets, it may be possible to upgrade them for tickets under the roof (at an additional cost, and depending on seat availability. A service charge may be applied). 

  • It is possible to consume beverages under the roof of the Amphithéâtre, but not food.

  • Lunch boxes will be waiting for you at the Amphithéâtre bistro.

  • It depends on the show. If allowed, please note that food may only be consumed on the lawn.

  • No, you cannot bring in any alcohol purchased off site.

  • No, there is no coat check on site.

  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted under the Amphithéâtre roof, nor are they allowed on the lawn.

    However, there are two designated smoking areas on the site:

    • Near the main entrance

    • Near the washroom facilities to the left of the stage (when facing it)

  • Yes. However, if you do leave your seat during the performance, you will be redirected to the nearest available seat at an appropriate time—as is the protocol for latecomers.

  • Yes, washrooms are located near the box office at the main entrance, as well as on either side of the stage.
