The exceptional duo, La Fiammata, comprised of pianists Linda Ruan and Charissa Vandikas, explores the richness and expressiveness of the repertoire for piano four hands.

In this recital, they present four lyrical and virtuosic works by composers Rachmaninov, Schubert, Saint-Saëns, and Cécile Chaminade, each piece transporting us to a unique, captivating, and deeply emotional world.

Recognized for their "dizzying musicality" (Süddeutsche Zeitung), the Canadian duo La Fiammata won Second Prize and the Henle Urtext Prize, in addition to being the youngest piano duo finalist at the 70th ARD International Music Competition (Munich, Germany).

Since its formation in 2015, La Fiammata has quickly established itself as one of the most promising young duos in the world, winning first prizes at the Lancaster International Chamber Music Competition (2021), the Suzana Szörenyi International Piano Duo Competition (2019) and the Northwest International Piano Ensemble Competition (2018).
