The Orchestre symphonique de Montréal invites you to try your hand at sonic improvisation by transforming the pre-recorded sounds of orchestral instruments.
Using MIDI controllers and keyboards, these manipulations allow for an intuitive and accessible exploration of computer-based sound creation. Presented in collaboration with Audiotopie, this playful experience allows participants—individually or in groups—to learn about audio sampling by connecting gesture to sound.
