Make your way through Place des Arts, following a path designed in collaboration with the city’s major arts organizations. Go from being a spectator to a participant, interact with artists and get a closer look at the many facets of creating for the performing arts.
Discover brass instruments with the Orchestre Métropolitain; sing the Toreador Song from Carmen with the Opéra de Montréal; listen to Guylaine Tremblay, Martin Drainville, and Émilie Bibeau discuss Duceppe’s 24 poses (portraits); explore movement with Danse Danse and Sylvain Émard Danse; and experience the world of ballet with Les Grands Ballets. Then, with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, take part in bringing a story to life, try your hand at sound improvisation with Audiotopie, or attend a symphonic concert. Compose a song with Alexandre Désilets or learn the basics of comedy writing with the École nationale de l’humour.
All activities are free of charge. Some require advance registration: see the detailed program and reserve your spot!
