Music, from 7 p.m.: Isabella Lovestory
Next, you’re invited to step into the musical world of Isabella Rodríguez Rivera, known to her devoted fans as Isabella Lovestory. This Honduran-born singer moved first to the U.S., then settled in Canada at age 17. Now a leading figure in experimental reggaeton, she skilfully blends Latin trap and gothic electronica to create her signature neoperreo style. Inspired by perreo, a South American dance rooted in the world of reggaeton, it blends bold rhythms with a distinctive esthetic.
The artist has already racked up two albums. Her first, Amor Hardcore, was described by Pitchfork as “playful, maximalist, and flirtatious to the core.” Her second album, Vanity, released in 2025, explores the link between horror and beauty, while also showing how beauty can emerge from the darkest parts of ourselves. Isabella’s exaggerated stage persona is a deliberate and forceful condemnation of the objectification of women
